Responsible Trading
Last updated:
Trading should stay a controlled, affordable activity. These habits and tools help you keep it that way.
1. Decide your limits first
- Set a monthly trading budget you can afford to lose completely, and do not top it up.
- Decide a maximum number of trades and a maximum loss per day before you start.
- Keep each stake small compared with your balance.
- Stop for the day after a run of losses instead of trying to win it back.
2. Warning signs
Take a break if you notice that you are:
- trading with money meant for bills, rent, debts or savings;
- raising stakes to recover losses;
- trading for longer than you planned, or late at night when tired;
- hiding your trading from people close to you; or
- feeling stressed or anxious when you are not trading.
3. Tools on Ovexly
- Use activity summaries and cooling-off controls in Settings where they are available on your account.
- Practise in free tournaments, which use competition capital instead of your balance.
- Ask support to pause or close your account at any time. Your available balance will be paid out to you, subject to verification.
4. Our approach
Ovexly is operated by Ovexly Trading LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. We do not promise profits, and we do not use design patterns intended to pressure continuous trading. Trade results follow published rules, explained in How Ovexly decides trade results.
5. Getting support
If trading is affecting your finances, relationships or wellbeing, stop trading and talk to someone you trust or a professional support service in your country. Read the Risk Disclosure for the main risks of trading.
